This week Pre-K students sorted items can be recycled. Inside of the boxes, we hunted for letters! We called it our recycle letter hunt.
We built treehouses, and we created "truffula trees". We know how important it is to save the trees!

Students fashion Recycle City, USA using cardboard boxes. Boxes of different shapes and sizes were used to create buildings, an arcade, and even a castle! Today, cooperation and problem solving were the keys to the city!




Pre-K students repurposed recycled materials to make a boat...we watched their imaginations set sail as they tinkered!

Kindergarten students note which reading strategies they use most frequently and set goals to try other reading strategies, too!





Students in Ms. Conklin's Pre-K Integrated class completed an Oobleck science experiment. Students talked about the qualities of a solid and a liquid, and used language that scientists use: suspension, glide, hard, separate, cut, melt, ooze, squishy. Students made so many observations: "we can cut" ..."it melts"... "it's squishy"... "it moves".!
