Kindergarten students note which reading strategies they use most frequently and set goals to try other reading strategies, too!





Students in Ms. Conklin's Pre-K Integrated class completed an Oobleck science experiment. Students talked about the qualities of a solid and a liquid, and used language that scientists use: suspension, glide, hard, separate, cut, melt, ooze, squishy. Students made so many observations: "we can cut" ..."it melts"... "it's squishy"... "it moves".!

Students delighted in lessons which incorporated elements of popular culture for St. Patrick's Day. Rainbows, four leaf clovers, pots of gold, and lucky leprechauns were woven into an exciting day of learning!

In Writer's Workshop Kindergarten students are writing true stories. They use this heart map to help them brainstorm special small moments in their lives.





Pre-K students enjoyed activities for the letter Jj. They danced with Elmo to the letter of the day song...reviewed various words starting with the letter Jj...and listened to the story Sheep in a Jeep.

In their unit of study on pets, Pre-K students in Ms. Bartok's class got to meet Mr. Trott and Emerald. Emerald is a guide dog who helps Mr. Trott safely find his way.
