Kindergarten students have varied reading experiences - independently, with partners, and in small groups. They are reading to learn and for enjoyment.


Outdoor play develops gross motor skills and fosters socialization. These Pre-K students are having a terrific time!

During choice play time Pre-K students explore interests, build hand eye coordination, and practice taking turns.





Kindergarten students learn about abstract art and the work of Piet Mondrian. They paint, cut and glue to create their own abstractions.

There was much excitement spreading through the halls of Lincoln School. Students have delighted in the many winter themed lessons and are making great connections to their experiences outside of Lincoln School. All are looking forward to a well-deserved winter break!

Physical Education: in this month’s unit of study, Kindergarten students are learning to use scooters! Working in partnerships, students use gross motor movements and coordination to propel themselves across the Multipurpose Room floor. Kneeling, backwards seated, on our bellies, and on our bottoms were the positions practiced last week. This week students are excited for scooter tag!
