The Albert Anthony Kayal Foundation and the Matthew Thomas Toriello Memorial Fund, in partnership with the Westfield Public Schools, is hosting “No One Saw This Coming: A Parent Program” on Thursday, March 30 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Roosevelt Intermediate School in Westfield.

The keynote speaker is Stephen Hill, a renowned national presenter on substance use prevention, mental health, and resilience.

Hill is an attorney, author, and the founder of Speak Sobriety who shares his personal journey of addiction and recovery with schools and organizations across the United States.

During his presentation, parents will learn how to help children make healthy choices and overcome adversity.  Attendees also will hear from Stephen’s father, Kevin Hill, who will share his experience as the parent of a child struggling with a substance use disorder and now a young man in recovery.

The March 30 presentation is free and open to the public.

Stephen Hill also will speak with 8th grade students at Edison and Roosevelt Intermediate Schools on March 29-31.
