Our second graders had a fun-filled day connecting with farm animals and learning about the ins and outs of working on Doyle's Farm! They fed goats and cows, sheared a sheep, milked a goat, planted sunflowers, learned about a chick's life cycle, and even touched a baby bunny. They had the best field trip!

Jefferson 3rd graders recently attended a field trip to Ellis Island to experience history firsthand, learning about the Immigration journey that shaped America through interactive exhibits and real life stories. The students explored different exhibits showing clothing from different cultures, left behind furniture, and stories of the challenges and successes of many immigrants. As students learn about the immigration process in their classrooms, they were able to visit the different rooms immigrants went to as part of the legal and medical inspections. Our students enjoyed a day full of sunshine, learning, and fun!
