What an ending!

Incredible evening performance! Next stop Broadway!

Stage crew decorated the concession stand area and the actors just got their last minute directions from their director! 30 minutes until show time!

More photos from Annie Jr.

The PTO sponsored production of Annie Jr. was spectacular today! Students and parent volunteers have been working for months to bring this classic tale to the Franklin stage!!

One way for 1st graders to develop number sense is to keep track of each day of the year as part of their morning activities. It's a quick and effective daily routine. The 100th (and the 101st) days of school arrived and deserved a little celebration.

Students in 1-H read with their 5th grade buddies, thought about being president (Monday was Presidents Day) and participated in an enrichment activity.

March is Youth Art Month. To celebrate this, every school in Westfield will have 2 students whose artwork will be on display downtown.
The Franklin artists in this exhibit are:
4th Grade:
Rebekah Sandler 4-B for her yarn embroidery artwork
5th Grade:
Ellie Reinartz 5-MG for her fall still life drawing
As you visit downtown during the month of March, be on the lookout at the library and the front windows at the Center for Creativity at the Rialto for artwork from not only our school, but the other schools in Westfield as well!

More Valentine's Day Fun!

Valentine's Day seems to get cuter every year!

One of the many 5th grade leadership roles is communicating over the loud speaker about various school activities. The office was crowded with students this morning who made announcements about our Kids Heart Challenge, Lunar New Year and fun facts about Valentine's Day! Thank you to our leaders for keeping us informed!

We love having parents come and share family traditions! Lunar new year is coming up. 1-D got a head start on their celebration!

Celebrating Black History Month with a performance by Soul Steps, thank you to our PTO for this assembly!

Wearing red for Health and Wellness Month and getting ready for the Super Bowl in 1-H!

Happy School Counselors Week! Thank you to Mrs. Pepe for leading our school with kindness!

More Math Night Fun!

Let the games begin!

Math Night is Mrs. Rygiel's vision and it comes together with support from our generous PTO and the Franklin Faculty! It would not happened with great teamwork! We started the festivities with a passing of the torch at the end of the school day! Thanks everyone!

Math Night is a wonderful Franklin community event. Former Franklin All-Stars return to volunteer with running the stations. Little siblings get a special passport to join the fun. Current students test their math skills and challenge their math brains by calculating, estimating and problem solving as they visit each station--gathering stickers as they accomplish each challenge. Our theme this year is the Olympics. Go for the gold!!

Franklin's soup-er bowl collection has donations rolling in!
