Edison's Stone of Hope Club is up and running. This club meets each Thursday morning in Mr. Stasi's room to make dozens of sandwiches which are then donated to a local homeless shelter. Great job Stone of Hope Club Members!

It was wonderful to see Edison students back in action and participating in meaningful art lessons this week. Mrs. Frees' students enjoyed learning about positive and negative space as they used the shadows from bikes on the back racks for their drawings.


The entire Edison School community is incredibly proud of the amazing musical accomplishments of Edison School 6th Grader Kobi Reese. Kobi was recently featured in this month's edition of the Westfield Local Magazine. Congratulations Kobi. Keep on Rockin!

Edison Intermediate School Faculty and Staff were thrilled to welcome 776 amazing 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students back to school. The students had a fantastic first day reconnecting with old friends, meeting new teachers, and navigating a brand new schedule of classes. Looking forward to another great year at EIS!

As you prepare for your child’s return to school, please be aware that medications and health forms can be dropped off to our school nurses at the following times:
August 31st - between 12pm to 3pm
September 1st - between 2pm to 3pm
September 7th - between 2pm to 3pm
Mrs. Kelly or Mrs. Fico will have a table setup at the main entrance to the school to receive your child’s medication. All health forms can be accessed on the Westfield High School Health Services Page.
