Congratulations to 30 WHS Seniors who have been named Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. This recognition is a testament to their outstanding academic potential.
The students recently received their certificates and celebrated this achievement with a photo alongside Principal Asfendis. We are incredibly proud of them!
Be sure to look out for their names in local publications, where they will be formally announced. Way to go, seniors!

The SGA promoted Patriot Day by handing out bracelets and asking students and staff to wear red, white and blue to honor the lives lost in the terrorist attacks in 2001 at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.
