Join us in celebrating Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 🌎✨ From September 15 to October 15, we honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latino communities.

After taking AP Environmental Science, WHS Senior Sofia Almonte and Junior Zoey Duque were inspired to start the WHS Garden Club.  Over the summer, students maintained the garden which continues to be harvested to create delicious snacks and dishes for students to learn about each vegetable and its nutritional value.  The some of the first yields of herbs and vegetables were used in the Food Science class for some fresh salsa. 

Wishing our entire Westfield Public Schools community a happy, healthy, and sweet new year as Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on September 11, 2026, and concludes at sundown on September 13, 2026.

Today, we join together to remember the twenty-fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001.
We honor the nearly 3,000 lives taken from us, the courage of the first responders, the resilience of our communities, and the spirit that rose up during that time.

Administrators held grade level meetings to inform students of expectations, policies and guiding values for the 2026-2027 school.

Please be reminded that all district schools and offices will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of the holiday.

We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, September 8.

The excitement is growing, WHS SGA and over 100 amazing student volunteers welcomed the incoming freshmen and new students for a tour of the building. The event included a meet and greet with School Counselors.

This Wednesday and Thursday were all about fresh starts as our Technology department hosted Chromebook Swap Days for our rising 8th grade students!

Students exchanged their old devices for brand new Chromebooks that they will use throughout their journey with us—all the way until graduation or they leave the district.

Here’s to new devices, new opportunities, and a bright future ahead! 🚀📚
