"Fall-Back Flashback" - During our Week of (Extra) Respect, students enjoyed an energizing assembly from LeadU. They learned calming breathing techniques for managing big feelings and explored healthy strategies for handling conflicts.
"Fall-back Flashback" - Our fourth graders enjoyed a special lesson on Diwali, the Festival of Lights. After hearing a story about the celebration, students made their own diyas to honor this joyful tradition.





"Fall-Back Flashback" - Westfield and its elementary schools were honored by EZ Ride for leadership in EV initiatives and Safe Routes to School programs. Together, we’re building a safer, greener future for our students and community.



"Fall-Back Flashback" - Our after-school STEAM program has begun. Students are exploring all kinds of hands-on experiences, from gardening and chess to creative design challenges.





"Fall-Back Flashback" - Our second graders teamed up to discover the different helpers who make a community run smoothly. From doctors to firefighters to teachers, they learned how everyone’s contributions matter.


"Fall-Back Flashback" - Our third graders are working cursive practice into their Fundations routine to develop strong, automatic handwriting skills. The more fluent they become, the more energy they can put toward creative, thoughtful writing.





"Fall-Back Flashback" - Some of our fourth grade students used rainbow models to review and visualize factor pairs. It's a colorful way to strengthen math thinking and see number relationships come to life.








"Fall-Back Flashback" - Our first graders added leaves to a Tree of Respect today as they brainstormed ways to show kindness and respect at school and at home. We love watching their ideas — and our tree — grow!


"Fall-Back Flashback" - Our first Two-Lunch Thursday was a success thanks to all the students and families who donated an extra lunch or food item to help others in need. Thank you, Wilson community!

"Fall-Back Flashback" - Our Safety Patrol team officially began their posts. They’re already doing a fantastic job helping our younger students move safely around the building and start their day with confidence and smiles.
On Day 2 of our Week of Respect, students and staff sported their favorite team gear to show that no matter who we cheer for, we’re all on Team Respect.




Wilson’s 1st–3rd graders had a great time learning about fire safety with Captain Karl and the Westfield Fire Department. Don’t forget to make a family fire escape plan.






Wilson students and staff kicked off the Week of Respect in style-wearing mismatched clothes to celebrate and show respect for our differences.



Wilson students and families participated in our local Walk & Bike to School Day. The event encourages active lifestyles while supporting both student well-being and a healthier environment for our community.









Our fifth grade students engaged in the spaghetti marshmallow tower challenge. The laughter, problem-solving, and teamwork filled the fifth grade hallway with energy and excitement. One thing’s for sure: when we work together, anything is “pastable”!









This year, our art teacher, Mrs. Collins, organized a collaborative art project inspired by Japanese artist and former teacher, Takashi Murakami’s iconic flower designs. Each student and staff member created a unique flower 🌸🌼 to contribute to our bulletin board, resulting in colorful reminder that we’re all blooming together as a community this year!




Mrs. Schreier’s students harvested tomatoes and peppers while learning how to care for our garden.





Our student support counselor stopped by first grade classes to introduce himself. He shared the story, The Rabbit Listened, reminding students that one of the most important parts of his job at Wilson is being there to listen.
Students enjoyed their first Wilson Book Fair of the school year. It will be open until Wednesday at 9:30 AM for any last-minute finds.

Chef Ferreira’s class enjoyed a “book tasting” of different genres to prepare for their new unit.
