Wilson’s third grade scientists went on a seed hunt! 🌱🔍 Students sharpened their observation skills as they searched for, collected, and compared a variety of seeds found around our school grounds.
Wilson’s first graders enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at the theater watching Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! Through humor and music, the show helped students explore important lessons about managing disappointment, understanding the reasons behind rules, and discovering how a favorite story can be adapted for the stage.

Wilson's fourth graders showcased their knowledge and creativity during our first Fourth Grade Wax Museum. Students brought their Trailblazers to life by sharing facts, stories, and accomplishments with their families and classmates.
Our second grade students enjoyed an assembly from Insectropolis' Bugs on the Go. This interactive experience helped students discover the structures, characteristics, and basic needs of these tiny animals.
We were proud to welcome our Superintendent and members of the district leadership team to our school. They shared updates about the upcoming referendum and what it means for our community.
A beautiful day called for a change of scenery. ☀️📚 Our students took Reader’s Workshop outside, enjoying fresh air while diving into their books.
Our Spring Book Fair was a wonderful celebration of reading. 📚 Students were excited to explore new books and grow their love of reading. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing librarian and PTO for making this event possible and for supporting our students’ love of reading!
Our first and second graders celebrated Arbor Day with a special assembly all about the importance of trees. 🌳 Students learned how trees help our environment and made it even more meaningful by planting a new tree right here at school.
Third grade students had an exciting hands-on experience dissecting owl pellets. Learning came to life as they explored, observed, and asked thoughtful questions like true scientists.
April is National Poetry Month. During library, our 5th grade students created blackout poems using a page of text from the novel Island of the Blue Dolphins.
Wilson students and staff were inspired and energized at today’s Brain Break Assembly. A big thank you to our wonderful PTO for bringing this engaging experience to our school community.
Wilson 5th grade students enjoyed a visit from members of the WHS No Place for Hate group. Students learned about the importance of spreading kindness and positivity throughout our school and community.
Wilson students took part in our “Race to Kindness” challenge, decorating items throughout the week that will help provide meals to those in need. A big thank you to our amazing parent volunteers for organizing each day’s activities. Your support made this event possible. We’re so proud of our students for spreading kindness!
Snow Day Flashback - Our fifth graders started their day in a meaningful way by coming in before school to work together to make sandwiches for donation. We are proud of their effort and teamwork. A special thank you to the parents who helped organize this event.

Snow Day Flashback - During library, our classes read this year’s Caldecott Medal nominated books for the most distinguished American picture book and held their own mock vote to choose a winner. Wilson’s pick was Stalactite, Stalagmite!
