Students and staff showed their support for Week of Respect by dressing in honor of our spirit days. They wore jerseys to show they are "team respect" and unique outfits to demonstrate how Wilson embraces differences.

Wilson families came out in red and celebrated Walk and Bike to School Day. Congratulations to our raffle winners, Will, who walked to school with Principal Marsh and Student Support Counselor Uveges and, Freya, who walked to school with Superintendent Dr. Gonzalez.

Here are more photos from our PTO's fall Movie Night. Thank you to the parent volunteers, also pictured here, who planned the special evening.

Wilson students and families didn't let the rain "dampen" their spirit as they came out to enjoy our PTO's fall movie night.

Second grade students performed a variety of locomotor movements using scarves as the manipulative during PE class. This helped develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor control as they threw and caught the scarves with partners.

Wilson students participated in an assembly with Dr. Recess to learn engaging, collaborative games to play during recess.

In the art room at Wilson, they began with a school-wide collaborative, which is on display in the main hallway. Young artists were buzzing with excitement to “Bee Kind” “Be Respectful” and “Bee Positive” as they each made a honeycomb drawing to contribute to our mural.

Buddies in Mrs. Kasemeyer and Ms. O'Neill's classes met for the first time. They completed an interview activity to get to know one another and set a foundation for their collaborative work this year.

Ms. Graziano's scientists took advantage of the beautiful weather to head outside and practice their observational skills. They took note of the different characteristics of our school's trees.

Ms. Christie's students brainstormed ideas about a special personal memory, to embark on the writing process.

Reminder: Schools will be closed on Monday, September 25.
