Today was Mix it up Day at Roosevelt! Mix it up day is a national event that encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and connect with others. The event asks students to sit with someone new in the cafeteria for one day with the goal of fostering and promoting a healthy school climate throughout the year. Today during the 6th grade lunch period, 6th graders had the opportunity to sit with new peers and friends, chat with an 8th grade PEER Leader, and play some fun games at their table.
