After discussing Argentinean cuisine in Spanish class, the 8th graders had the opportunity to try empanadas, a delicious and traditional Argentine dish. The students excitedly sampled savory beef empanadas and some asked for seconds and even thirds. The class rated them a “10 as a morning snack!” It was a fun and tasty way to connect language learning with real-world experiences!

8th grade Science students were actively engaged in a self-chosen space activity. The students researched their topics and created a slideshow when presenting to their peers.
