March is Youth Art Month and Music In Our Schools Month. We're kicking both off with an Opening Reception on Tuesday, March 5 from 4:30-6:30p at the Roig Collection. We hope to see you there, as we celebrate the arts in our schools!

Happy 100th Day of School! The 100th day of school is filled with fun activities and learning opportunities centered around the number 100, fostering excitement and a sense of accomplishment among students!

In Library Media Science, students are learning about the qualities of Caldecott winning titles and casting a vote for their favorite title!


Students are beginning to understand that pushes and pulls can have different strengths and directions. Today they contemplated how to knock down a wall made of concrete.

After monitoring weather conditions overnight, all Westfield Public Schools will have a delayed opening today (Wednesday), January 17 to allow time for the DPW and our buildings and grounds crews to address icy conditions. Today, students wrapped up their "Show and Tell" writing unit with a celebration. Students gave each other feedback using post-its with symbols.
Students were excited to share their work with friends from different tables, and even more excited to compliment each other's hard work!





Special thanks goes out to Mr. Carmine and Mr. Robert for working hard to keep our sidewalks and paths safe. They have been clearing and salting all day!
Please exercise caution at dismissal today. Despite our best salting efforts, the paths keep refreezing.
