Building blocks are more than just fun — they’re powerful learning tools! As our young learners stack, sort, and design their creations, they’re also:
🧩 Developing spatial awareness by exploring shapes, sizes, and positions
🔢 Building number sense as they count blocks, recognize patterns, and compare quantities
🤝 Practicing teamwork and problem-solving while bringing big ideas to life
💡 Boosting creativity and fine motor skills, one block at a time!

❤️✏️ Our Kindergarteners kicked off Writer’s Workshop by creating Heart Maps—a special way to capture the people, places, and moments that mean the most to them! 💭✨ These maps will inspire their writing as they begin crafting stories about their own personal small moments in the coming days and weeks. ❤️✏️

💬 🌟 This week, our Kindergarteners worked with the school counselor to practice using “I Statements”—a powerful tool for expressing feelings and solving problems.
By identifying a feeling, a situation, and a solution, students practice communicating their emotions in a positive way. From “I feel sad when my toy is taken. Can we take turns?” to “I feel frustrated when my block tower falls. Can you help me rebuild it?”—our young learners are building confidence and empathy every day! 🌟
