In this lesson, students learned about Diwali traditions. In honor of the “Festival of Lights” students constructed their own paper lanterns and decorated them with bright colors. We look forward to learning more about the traditions of our classmates throughout the school year.

FOOD DRIVE: October 24 - November 18, 2022 Lincoln School’s annual food drive for the Westfield Food Pantry will run from Monday, 10/24 through Friday, 11/18. This is a perfect opportunity to help those in need and show our students the importance of caring for others. We are asking for donations of non-perishable food items: cereal, diapers & wipes, canned/boxed milk, coffee, tea, dehydrated potatoes, pasta and pasta sauce, nut butters, canned meat/fish/vegetables/soups, crackers, etc. All donations should be placed in the blue plastic container by the front entrance or in your child’s backpack. Lincoln School successfully collected 675 books for the Westfield Memorial Library Book Drive. Let’s aim to surpass that number for this year’s food drive!
