Our 4th and 5th graders went for a walking field trip to the Pop Up Museum at the Center for Creativity at the Rialto on Wednesday and Thursday. For Black History Month this February, the students were afforded this an amazing opportunity to learn about the African-American history of Westfield. They learned about many African-American medical professionals, athletes, musicians and authors who were born and raised in Westfield. The exhibit is open to the public on Friday afternoons and weekends this month. It is definitely worth a visit and you will learn so much.
