Media Centers are key school hubs for students to work with peers and access boundless learning resources. With modern education standards evolving, these spaces are no longer just libraries, but also collaborative learning environments for student success. The Jefferson Early Act Club collected nearly 900 canned food items for the "Souper Bowl" food drive, thanks to the generous support of Jefferson families. The food pantry at Grace Church was restocked and students earned a fun Crazy Hair Day.

Franklin student artists honor Black leaders, educators, athletes, musicians, and changemakers during Black History Month, creating these unique portraits . The process involved tracing the image, coloring and cutting into small squares, then reassembling the portrait.









Bookshelves and temporary soft walls sub-divide rooms to create small group instruction spaces inside our elementary schools. During Spanish at Wilson, fourth graders engaged in a small-group game to reinforce the names of sports.

Our school community has always stepped up in times of need, this time partnering with the greater Westfield community to support a neighboring relief effort, collecting much-needed supplies for those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. #CommunityStrong



Kindergarten learning centers build academic, social-emotional, and fine motor skills through hands-on fun. "From counting to creating, every activity lays the foundation for future learning," says Lincoln principal Dr. Tiffany Jacobson.


The WHS Counseling team shared lots of information, including course selection, resources, ands tips for success in high school, with 8th graders during visits to Edison and Roosevelt.

As part of an interdisciplinary unit on the Holocaust, 8th graders attended "Through the Eyes of a Friend," an impactful assembly combining archival images with the accomplished storytelling of a solo performer, told from the viewpoint of a fictional "best friend" of Anne Frank.



Math Night at Franklin is always a huge hit, with lots of hands-on learning created by a dedicated team of educators lead by Mrs. Rygiel. Thank you to all who pitched in to lend a hand for this popular annual event. Lots of future mathematicians!
