On Thursday, August 27, 2026, Washington Elementary School welcomed students and families for an afternoon Meet and Greet, marking an exciting step toward the start of the new school year.
Beginning at 2:30 p.m., students and their families had the opportunity to walk the halls, visit their new classrooms, and meet their teachers. The event provided a warm and welcoming opportunity for students to become familiar with their surroundings before the first day of school.
Throughout the afternoon, hallways and classrooms were filled with excitement as students reconnected with old friends and classmates and began making new connections. Families were also able to meet teachers, ask questions, and help their children feel comfortable and prepared for the year ahead.
