Third grade students in Mrs. Kraus' class wrapped up their study of the skeletal system by creating "x-rays." This helped them visualize the bones in their hands to better understand the connection between structure and function.

Wilson fifth graders are already preparing for the transition to middle school. They had a presentation from the French teacher and counselors from Roosevelt to get an introduction to middle school basics including course selection, schedules, and lunch options.

Wilson wrapped up our Neurodiversity Week with a school-wide assembly reflecting on students' takeaways from the workshops they attended throughout the week.
During Neurodiversity Week, Wilson students took part in workshops, facilitated by district behaviorists to help our students gain a deeper understanding of the different ways people experience the world.
Wilson First graders welcomed presenters from the Miller-Cory House Museum. They learned about the historical significance of the "Three Sisters" - corn, beans, and squash, to the Lenape as our students prepare to plant their own garden.

During Community Service Week our students brought in and organized school supplies, toiletries, lunches, and baby items to donate to local organizations. Thank you to everyone who was able to participate as we help teach our students about the importance of giving back.
