
During Neurodiversity Week, Wilson students took part in workshops, facilitated by district behaviorists to help our students gain a deeper understanding of the different ways people experience the world.










Wilson First graders welcomed presenters from the Miller-Cory House Museum. They learned about the historical significance of the "Three Sisters" - corn, beans, and squash, to the Lenape as our students prepare to plant their own garden.

During Community Service Week our students brought in and organized school supplies, toiletries, lunches, and baby items to donate to local organizations. Thank you to everyone who was able to participate as we help teach our students about the importance of giving back.




Students in Mrs. Venturino's class took advantage of the snowy day to collect and observe snowflake specimens after learning about the "photomicrography" work of Wilson (Snowflake) Bentley.

Wilson students took a trip to the stars today, during the traveling planetarium assembly. They learned about the planets, moons, and stars in our solar system, how they move relative to one another, and which stars make up constellations.

First grade students in Mrs. Collins' art classes created turtles inspired the Dr. Seuss text and illustrations for Yertle the Turtle, in honor of Read Across America Week.

So many Wilson families came out for our second PTO game night of the year. Thank you to the parents who organized this fun event and the teachers who helped with the games!








Wilson kicked off our Read Across America Week celebration by welcoming author Beth Ferry. She did presentations for each grade where she talked about the writing, illustrating, and publishing processes. Inspiration can be found anywhere, when you add a little imagination.
