As part of a generous donation from Westfield Education Fund, Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss will host a virtual presentation for parents/caregivers on March 9 entitled "Supporting Children Coping with Loss." Learn more: https://www.westfieldnjk12.org/article/1003886


This week during homeroom, students were given the opportunity to write a kind message to themselves or their peers on a sticky note that was then displayed on our “Throw Kindness like Confetti” bulletin board.

The Student Council would like to thank everyone who contributed last week to our Food Drive to benefit the Presbyterian Church in Westfield. We were able to collect 1,029 items for those in need in our immediate area.

Students at RIS watched a powerful live performance called "Through the Eyes of a Friend". This presentation by Living Voices parallels the life of Anne Frank.


7th grade students are growing hydroponic plants in the classroom to assist them in understanding photosynthesis.


Ms. Goodwin's 7th grade TED II classes are learning about circuitry to create a variety of different projects. Controlling the brightness of a light, to building a remote control to drive a car- the creations are endless.
