8th Grade students have been working towards building their understanding of Active Citizenship. Each student created a resume highlighting the accomplishments of an active citizen in their community, state, or nation.

Last Friday, 6th grade Social Studies classes participated in an outdoor activity. This activity simulated a Hindu and Buddhist Spring renewal ritual called Lay Krathong. Students made small rafts and sailed them on simulated River Ganges and Indus Rivers to imitate what some Asian cultures do to seek a happy and peaceful rest of the year.
