First graders in 1-C enjoyed their partner reading time today. They loved sharing stories and reading to each other. There were big "partner smiles" all around.

MCK 3rd graders took part in The Great American Postcard Race! The race promotes friendly competition and helps to boost geography skills. Students reached out to family and friends and acquired postcards from each of the 50 states. All 3rd grade classes did an excellent job collecting and sharing postcards this year. Congratulations to Mrs. Barca's 3rd graders for winning the race!

Mr. Paradise's 5th grade students (engineers, really!) are preparing for their trip to Buehler Challenger and Science Center. They're testing out their paper airplanes today to determine best flight speeds/distance. All of our MCK 5th graders are thrilled about the opportunity to experience a space mission at Buehler!

Second graders in 2-SC are finishing up some final edits and then they are going to publish their writing today. They are so excited to share their published work!

These 5th grade students are using their math skills to research possible field trips. This project encourages creative thinking and problem solving as students apply their skills to a real life situation. Can't wait to see their results!
