Join us in celebrating Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 🌎✨ From September 15 to October 15, we honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latino communities.

Back to School Night was a success! It was wonderful to see so my families at this event. We kicked off the evening with a PTO Meeting and continued with classroom presentations and the opportunity to paint our community mural. It was a great start to the 26-27 school year.

Wishing our entire Westfield Public Schools community a happy, healthy, and sweet new year as Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on September 11, 2026, and concludes at sundown on September 13, 2026.

Today, we join together to remember the twenty-fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001.
We honor the nearly 3,000 lives taken from us, the courage of the first responders, the resilience of our communities, and the spirit that rose up during that time.

Our wonderful custodians created a school bus-themed sanitation station for the students to use during lunch.

Lunch and recess are important times of the school day. Students are practicing social skills, problem solving strategies and decision making.

Our students are off to a great start- listening, reading, learning new routines and getting to know their classmates.

The McKinley Staff is excited for the 26–27 school year!

Our 5th Graders reviewed the McKinley student expectations and created posters to remind all students to be safe and responsible, kind and inclusive.

Please be reminded that all district schools and offices will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of the holiday.

We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, September 8.

💻✨ New Year, New Chromebook! ✨💻

This Wednesday and Thursday were all about fresh starts as our Technology department hosted Chromebook Swap Days for our rising 8th grade students!

Students exchanged their old devices for brand new Chromebooks that they will use throughout their journey with us—all the way until graduation or they leave the district.

Here’s to new devices, new opportunities, and a bright future ahead! 🚀📚
