Students in Mr. Rodas' class made guitars to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The guitar is an important instrument in many Hispanic cultures. It first became popular in Spain, and today, people in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and many other countries still play guitar music. Mr. Rodas' students made their own guitars to learn about this music and to honor the people who share it with the world.

Second graders were so excited to release their butterflies after observing the life cycle of an insect over the past two weeks. Throughout this Life Science Unit, students will be able to describe how living things grow and change.

Science is all around us! Fifth graders are learning about the connection between their shadows and the changing position of the sun throughout the day. Students traced a partner's shadow in the morning and the afternoon, and they observed that the shadows changed size and shifted positions.
