McKinley fifth graders sang the National Anthem before the Somerset Patriots game and one student threw a ceremonial first pitch.

McKinley 5th Graders had a beautiful day for their Field Trip to Sandy Hook. They enjoyed observing and exploring estuarine and barrier beach environments.

4th Graders practiced their bike safety skills today. Thank you to the instructors from EZ Ride for teaching our students to be safe when biking.

4th Graders enjoyed a special Chemistry lesson with Mrs. McCabe's Dad, Dr. Korfmacher. The students learned about the pH scale, types of acids and bases, and changing states of matter.

First Graders had fun practicing their measuring skills outside. They recorded their measurements in inches or in centimeters.

McKinley students and staff enjoyed Wellness Day during Mental Health Awareness Month. Students spent the day drawing, reading, dancing, and meeting therapy dogs. Thank you to our school counselor, Mrs. Echeverry, for facilitating this fun and healthy day.

Happy Secretary Appreciation Day to the very best! Thank you, Mrs. Fetter and Mrs. Romano for all that you do.

Our 4th Grade Band and Orchestra performed beautifully during their daytime school concert. It is amazing that most of the students only started instrument lessons this year!

Participation was high for McKinley School Multicultural Night. Many countries and cultures were represented with food, graphics, crafts, and music.
