Sixth graders at RIS utilize research, writing, presentation, and public speaking skills during a recent social studies unit on Ancient Egypt.
Mrs. Morris' 1st graders at Wilson worked in groups to research different types of penguins, followed by a Reader's Theater performance of "Tacky the Penguin," a story that reinforces being true to oneself.

Lots of recent activities taking place in elementary schools as part of the Great Kindness Challenge. At Franklin, during morning announcements, students explained how to say, "Hello" in their native language or the language of their heritage.

Redesigning the WHS Student Center in Architecture II class, while learning about commercial building standards, fire egress, ADA accommodations, and much more. In Woods II, students built end tables, utilizing craftsmanship, design, wood joinery techniques, and other skills.

Jefferson's recent Multicultural Festival showcased a vibrant blend of 20 different cultures through music, food, clothing, sports, crafts, and more. Over 200 students and their families attended this popular event that fosters understanding and appreciation within the school community. Thank you to the Jefferson PTO and all participants and attendees who supported this great annual tradition.
