Lots of hands-on learning at the PTC Gifted Education's well-attended STEAM Night, with students rotating between activity stations that included robotics, genotyping, artificial intelligence, calculating density, and basic surgical procedures (using a banana). Thank you to all who volunteered their considerable time and expertise to make this night a success.

Therapy dogs Bubbles and Daisy Mae were a huge hit at Jefferson, a recent visit arranged by counselor Christine Saliceti to support student wellness.





Wilson's first graders extended their learning about the characteristics of reptiles and compared different reptile groups during an assembly from Jenkinson's Aquarium.

Edison 8th graders learn archery in PE, as teachers emphasize safety with precision and instruct students on how to hold the bows and aim the arrows.



Pre-K students are learning about flowers, building hand strength and growing their own plants! They are also "growing" more comfortable talking with each other about their learning!


In celebration of the Hindu Spring Renewal Festival Lay Krathong, Roosevelt 6th grade social studies classes reenacted the festival, writing worries on the sail of their Krathong (raft) before floating it down replicas of the Ganges and Indus Rivers to carry those worries away.
