Wilson students in Mrs. Venturino's class worked collaboratively on gum drop structures before applying what they have been learning in math to calculate the volume.




Acting and comprehension skills on full display as Edison students in Mrs. Curtis's reading class assumed the roles of characters from the novel "Stargirl" and interviewed their classmates.


Our students learned about Veterans Day in a variety of ways, including a visit from an Army veteran at McKinley and creating cards and letters at Jefferson to be delivered to veterans to thank them for their service to our country.









November is Native American Heritage Month, or as it is commonly referred to, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. It is a time to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories, and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people.


New Jersey Watershed Ambassadors brought a field lab into Dr. Terra and Mrs. McLoughlin's AP Environmental Science classes. These studies, like the data collected during a Sandy Hook field trip, help anchor core course concepts.




The Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is a cherished Mexican holiday to honor loved ones who have died. Edison and Roosevelt students, along with intermediate Spanish and art teachers, created visual stunning displays while learning about Mexican culture and traditions.
