We’re excited to share that Music for All has named Westfield Public Schools a recipient of the 2026 Advocacy in Action Award in the Elementary Excellence category!
This national award recognizes outstanding music education programs, and Westfield was honored for its “Wild Symphony” Children’s Concert initiative. Designed for families with children in PreK–Grade 5, the program introduced young learners to orchestral music through live performances, animated visuals, and narrated poems, all thoughtfully connected to our elementary music curriculum.
“Wild Symphony” created a fun, welcoming way for students and families to explore musical concepts and instruments, while inspiring creativity and a lifelong love of music.
The Advocacy in Action Awards celebrate educators, administrators, families, and community members who champion music education as an essential part of a well-rounded education. Westfield’s program will be featured in Music for All’s Advocacy in Action Archive, serving as a model for music educators nationwide.
