On May 11, 70 students were inducted into the National Honor Societies for Spanish, French, Chinese, and Italian, with 31 excelling in Spanish, 25 in French, 9 in Chinese, and 5 in Italian.
"I am very proud of our students. Their resilience and work ethic have gained them this recognition, but it's not just about their academic achievement,” says K-12 World Language Supervisor Enrique Pincay. “These students have served as members of their respective language clubs and have demonstrated their commitment to making an impact in the Westfield educational community. They are exceptional individuals."
The following students were inducted into Pensativa, the Westfield High School chapter of La Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, also referred to as the National Spanish Honor Society, says Spanish teacher Rose Calimano.
