Veterans Day at Tamaques School. Today, many of our classrooms were treated with special guest family members to teach our students about what Veterans Day means and why it is important!
Tamaques teachers are receiving "live" job embedded coaching on how best to deliver small group, targeted instruction! The district is working with Magnolia Consultants on this initiative in grades K-8!

Security Drill Preparedness- Tamaques School conducts monthly security drills to help ensure we are prepared for emergency situations.
Today, we conducted an on-site evacuation drill.
2 lunch Thursday is back!! What a great outpouring of kindness during the Week of Respect!! All lunches will be delivered to St. Joseph's Services Center in Elizabeth for kids in need of a complete lunch!
5th Grade Safety Patrol are on the job!!
Our first rotation of safety patrol officers started on Monday. Our 5th graders take a lot of PRIDE in serving their school!
Our annual Fall Festival is tonight from 5-7PM! Be sure to stop by before dismissal to pick up your pumpkins, mums and corn stalks!

Thank you, Sadie! Former TAM Tiger & WHS Junior, Sadie Pitigala makes good on her promise. Sadie organized a "Take One,Give One" school supply drive for gentle used items and then made BTS back packs for some of our district families in need of support!
