Roosevelt's 8th grade Peer Leaders are enjoying a beautiful day in Clark Park as they work on Team Building activities!



A full day of professional learning taking place during today's in-service for staff.

As Week of Respect comes to an end at Roosevelt Intermediate School. On Friday, students wore a team sports jersey to show we are all, at RIS, on the same team!


6th grade Technology, Engineering and Design I classes were thinking out-of- the-box to work together as a team to build a tower of cups using only one rubber band and string. Students could not use any body part to touch/move the cups.

Schools are closed on Wednesday, October 5 in observance of Yom Kippur.

As we celebrate Hispanic LatinX Heritage Month, the students in Senora Maver's Spanish class studied influential Hispanic Americans to learn about their impact on culture and community.

Students in Ms. Goodwin's Technology Engineering and Design class work together as a team to reproduce a replica of a hidden object that is made out of K'NEX's. Only one team member can see the hidden object and they have to describe the object to try and get it built correctly. Communication is key!
