students engage in earth day celebration

Wednesday, April 22, 2026...Our school community came together to celebrate Earth Day with a joyful, hands-on experience that inspired our youngest learners to care for the world around them. The day was made especially meaningful thanks to our incredible parent volunteers, whose time, creativity, and enthusiasm helped bring each activity to life. We are truly grateful for their partnership in making this celebration so fun and memorable for our students.

Students rotated through three engaging outdoor stations on the grassy field. At the Read Aloud station, children gathered in a cozy circle to listen to The Earth Book. With expressive storytelling and thoughtful pauses, volunteers encouraged students to reflect on simple yet powerful ways they can help protect the Earth. Many eagerly raised their hands to share their ideas, sparking a sense of responsibility and pride.

At the Recycled Art Station, imagination took center stage. Using a variety of recycled materials, students designed and built unique creations. There was no “right” way—just creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Volunteers guided students in using materials safely while encouraging them to think creatively.

The Water Conservation Sensory Play station challenged students to “rescue” water using tools like cups, sponges, and funnels. This playful activity introduced important concepts about conservation, as students experimented thoughtfully and learned to minimize waste.

Together, these experiences fostered curiosity, creativity, and environmental awareness—hallmarks of a truly meaningful Earth Day.
