students engaged in the dental hygiene assembly

Thursday, March 26, 2026…Big smiles were seen all around Lincoln School as students participated in engaging and informative dental hygiene assemblies! We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Aimee, a local dentist and proud parent of twin kindergarteners in our school community, who generously volunteered time to share expertise with our students.

During the assemblies, students learned about the importance of taking care of their teeth and how everyday food choices can impact dental health. From sugary snacks to tooth-friendly options, the lessons helped students understand how what they eat plays a big role in keeping their smiles bright.

Students were also taught proper brushing and flossing techniques, including how long to brush and how to reach every part of their teeth. Dr. Aimee walked them through what to expect during a visit to the dentist’s office, helping to ease any worries and build confidence about dental checkups.

Our students were engaged, curious, and, most importantly, all smiles as they left with new knowledge and healthy habits to practice at home. We are so grateful for this meaningful partnership that helps keep our school community smiling strong!
