students celebrate the 100th day of school

Thursday, February 19, 2026...This week, Pre-K and Kindergarten students marked a major milestone—the 100th day of school—with a variety of fun, hands-on activities designed to engage young learners’ curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Classrooms were buzzing with excitement as students participated in games and challenges that celebrated the magic of 100.

One favorite activity involved sorting and counting collections of 100 items, from colorful beads to small toys, encouraging students to use critical thinking and number sense in creative ways. In collaborative challenges, students worked in teams to build towers, complete puzzles, and navigate obstacle courses—practicing perseverance and learning how to support one another. Teachers also introduced “100-themed” craft projects and created collections of 100 shapes, combining math and creativity.

Throughout the day, students had opportunities to reflect on their accomplishments, share strategies, and celebrate the milestone together. Laughter, collaboration, and pride filled the classrooms as children realized how much they had learned and grown over the past 100 days.

By weaving together play, learning, and teamwork, this special celebration highlighted not only the joy of reaching the 100th day but also the skills—critical thinking, perseverance, and cooperation—that will carry students forward in the months to come.
