The current Board members whose 3-year terms are expiring are Kent Diamond, Charles Gelinas and Brendan Galligan.

Nominating Petitions Process

The Board Secretary of the Westfield Board of Education accepted completed petitions for candidacy in the April 21, 2026 School Board Election no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026.

Legislation enacted in 2018 permits Board of Education candidates to circulate nominating petitions jointly and to be bracketed together on the ballot. A link to the nominating petition for the Westfield Board of Education is provided below.

The drawing of names for position on the ballot was conducted by Mrs. Ramos on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 2 p.m. at 302 Elm Street.
