The focus of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental principles and practices associated with personal finance. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the
economy, income and taxes, banking, and investing. Students will also recognize the purpose and consequences of credit and debt. Students will develop knowledge and skills of personal finance that enable them to make responsible financial decisions. This course will meet the graduation requirement for financial, economic, business, and entrepreneurial literacy. An introductory video is here.
