Business Principles & Management

This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of the fundamentals of business and will prepare students for post-secondary studies and careers in all areas of business. Students will gain insight into the structure of American business and will be exposed to several of the foundations of business including economics, management, production, human relations, labor-management relations, contracts and marketing. Using real-world businesses as examples, students will gain awareness of successful and unsuccessful business strategies. Students will become aware of how they as consumers are part of the overall economy and businesses’ operations. An introductory video is here.
