Here are some answers to important questions that you might have. Additional questions should be emailed to payroll@westfieldnjk12.org.

 PAYROLL RECORDS, W-2’S, ATTENDANCE AND OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT:

  • Click "Forgot Password" and enter your email address as your login Click the Green tab “Send Reset Password Token”.  
  • Retrieve the email you were sent and click the Reset your password
  • Create a new password that has at least 7 alpha-numeric-case sensitive characters example: Abc1234 or abc1234 or abcdefg etc.
  • Enter your emergency contact and cell phone information accordingly.
 
Employees are paid semi-monthly on the 15th and the last day of the month (unless it is a weekend or holiday). 10 months a year for teachers/paraprofessionals, 12 months for everyone else.

Please see your association agreement for specific information about absences, health benefits, and costs associated with your group. You can obtain this agreement from the Human Resources department.

Health Benefits (if applicable)

Medical, prescription and dental coverage are available. You also have the option to waive any or all of the coverage.

Medical and Dental coverage is administered with Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Prescription coverage is administered by CapitalRx.

COMPLETED ENROLLMENT APPLICATIONS AND MEDICAL BENEFIT WAIVER FORMS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE PAYROLL OFFICE WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF HIRE OTHERWISE YOU MAY NOT ENROLL IN ANY HEALTH PLAN UNTIL THE NEXT OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD WHICH IS SEPTEMBER 1st OR JANUARY 1st ANNUALLY.

Voluntary Disability Options:

Disability Providers: Please contact them directly to compare the enrollment periods, plan options and costs.  It is your responsibility to investigate and enroll in one of these voluntary disability plans based on your personal needs.

 

Reminder, as a public school employee, you are not eligible for coverage with the State of NJ Disability Plan.  If you exhaust your sick day allotment, you will be unpaid.
