Happy Halloween!

There were dinosaurs and unicorns, superheroes and sports figures, skeletons and witches, as Westfield students across the school district celebrated Halloween with parades and parties on Oct. 31.

Smiling parents and other family members lined the sidewalks, snapping photographs as students in grades pre-kindergarten to five proudly marched by in all of their Halloween splendor.

Cleverly carved pumpkins were on display at some of the schools as was lots of fall artwork. Class parties organized by PTO members kept elementary students entertained with crafts and games.  A crew from News 12 New Jersey was on hand at Jefferson School to record the parade.

Students at Edison and Roosevelt Intermediate Schools and Westfield High School also enjoyed the day, many donning costumes as well.

More photographs to come...
