Westfield High School seniors Etan Zeller MacLean, Luke Pardo, and Sandrine Perez have been named 2019-2020 National Hispanic Scholars as part of the College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP).
According to the College Board, the program honors more than 7,000 academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino juniors each year who achieve a qualifying score on the PSAT/NMSQT for their region and maintain a cumulative junior year grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.
“What an incredible achievement,” said WHS principal Mary Asfendis in a letter congratulating each scholar. “We are very proud of you. This recognition speaks volumes about your abilities and commitment to your education.”
