National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Libraries Association Congratulates Your Library

Your library media center has been selected to receive the

2009 We the People Bookshelf on "Picturing America" 

As one of 4,000 schools, we will receive 17 YA hardcover books to

 complement our 2008 grant "Picturing America" a collection of

40 works of great American Art. 

This year, Kira Brady, Laura Segedin, Kim Jonny, Frank Thompson and

Rob Greenwood used these prints in their classroom. 

We thank them for their efforts and plan to share our resources so to cultivate the

best in our American culture and literature with our Roosevelt's students.
