Slam for Tam!

Slam for Tam is back by popular demand!  We are looking for parents to play in the game with Tamaques Staff.  The game will be played on Wednesday, June 5th at the Westfield High School Main Gym at 7 PM.  There will also be several practices on weekday evenings in the Tamaques Gym.  Please email Bridget Tarleton if you're interested in playing.

Looking for help in the Garden!

Would you be willing water the Tamaques garden one day during the weekend? While we have plans for a new, donated, sprinkler system we need help the next couple of weeks keeping the garden green and wet. Please contact Michele Beaulieu if you can spare some time.

Scholastic Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair

It's time to stock up for Summer reading!  Our final Scholastic Book Fair of the year will be May 29 through 31.  This is the buy one, get one free book fair, so it's a great opportunity to add to your home (or class) library.  All classes will visit the sale. We will have an opportunity for children to donate books to their classroom library.  For more information, or if you'd like to volunteer, please contact Julie Hutchinson or Maria Conti

Race to the Finish Line with Box Tops!!

At the end of our fourth week we’ve brought in 5,827 Box Tops!  The leaders after the first lap are: 1M, 2G, 3F, 4S, 5L and 13S.  Our weekly winners (randomly selected) are: Sierra Ciasco (3E), Jessica Currie (2K), William Litchholt (5A), Willliam Sullivan (2Ro) and Amanda Werner (3D).  Help your teacher earn a $25 gift certificate for being the top class in their grade, with the overall leader getting an additional $25!!  Students in the winning classes will also get a prize!!  Winning classes to be determined by highest average per student collected for the year, so be sure to include your name and class when you turn in your Box Tops.  Look for class progress weekly on the bulletin board outside the gym and help your class Race to the Finish Line!!  Contest ends Friday, May 24^th!! The Library is open for recess!

Calling all card sharks, board gamers and artists!!! The library will be monitored on most Tuesdays and Fridays through the end of the year.  As in years past, there is no checking out of books, (but you can bring some to return !!).  Two students from each class is the limit, so take a turn and see what it's all about!!!  We've collected some board games and cards to make library recess more exciting!!! See you there!
